The Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science seeks to fill one position
starting May 2023 or later. The full-time position (40 hours per week) is in the Scalable Data- and Compute-intensive Analyses Group (https://scalable.uni-jena.de) and initially limited to three years.
The Scalable Data- and Compute-intensive Analyses Group tackles computationally demanding challenges in research and industry. We cover the involved disciplines from the bare metal of computer architectures to fully automated production workflows by integrating modeling and simulation, high-performance computing, software engineering, data analytics, and verification and validation. This overarching approach is key for building visionary, transferable, robust and efficient software pipelines.
