At the Institute of Mathematics, a position as
is to be filled on a part-time basis (75% / 30 hours per week) starting October 1, 2024.
The research group of Prof. Dr. Thomas Wannerer is engaged in, among other things, the investigation of generalizations of the classical isoperimetric inequality. Recently, significant progress has been made in the study of these inequalities using methods from convex geometry, differential geometry, and spectral theory (https://arxiv.org/abs/2312.12294). The position is offered as a fixed-term position for 3 years.
