We offer an unlimited, full-time position (40 hours per week).
The respective group (https://www.nano.uni-jena.de/) uses ion beams in a variety of ways to manipulate or analyse the properties of solids. We also investigate the basic mechanisms in the interaction of energetic ions with materials, and in the scientific environment of the city of Jena we concentrate on the optical properties of irradiated solids. Together with this team, you ensure the scientific coordination of the accelerator facilities and significantly support coordinated projects of the group, such as in the IRTG 2675 "Tailored metasurfaces" (https://www.asp.uni-jena.de/irtg2675) or in the SFB 1375 "Non-linear optics down to atomic scales" (https://www.noa.uni-jena.de/).
The position is permanent.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week).
In principle, the job is also suitable for part-time employment. The extent to which a part-time request can be granted, in particular with regard to the location and scope of the part-time work, will be assessed on the basis of the needs of the service.
