The Institute of Psychology at the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences seeks to fill the position of a

We offer a full-time position (40 hours per week) ideally for a longer period (2 years with possibility to extend up to 4 years)
As a new team member, you will support our Department of Biological Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience (BPCN) and make a valuable contribution to the success of our research and teaching activities. Our department is primarily concerned with processes of perception and memory. Both basic neuronal mechanisms of visual/acoustic perception and their explanatory approaches such as predictive processing, as well as specific perceptual processes, as in the case of human faces, are investigated. For this purpose, new data are regularly collected in TMS, EEG, fMRI, eye-tracking and behavioural experiments.
In principle, the job is also suitable for part-time employment. The extent to which a part-time request can be granted, in particular with regard to the location and scope of the part-time work, will be assessed on the basis of the needs of the service.
